Best Weapon Against Net Neutrality Repeal

 April 23, 2019

Are you worried about the net neutrality repeal? Not anymore! Here’s the best weapon against net neutrality repeal.

Whether we like it or not, the net neutrality repeal has taken place already. We can see two kinds of faces right now – happy and sad. Happy faces belong to those people whose state provided measures to protect them the repeal. It also belongs to the FCC and ISPs that can now dominate bandwidths and internet.

Sad faces, on the other hand, belong to the people of the states whose bills are not yet passed or enacted. Likewise, it belongs to ISPs, and cable providers can’t exercise their deceitful management practices. Even more, they need to comply with the state’s bill and disclose their operational procedure.

Since the net neutrality repeal just started, ISPs will not immediately implement their own protocols. Experts believe that providers won’t move until consumers are no longer paying attention.

“Don’t expect any changes right out of the gate. It would be a PR nightmare for ISPs if they introduced sweeping changes immediately after the repeal of net neutrality,” says
Dary Merckens, CTO of Gunner Technology.

Although it would take time for this ISPs to implement their own rules, it is best that consumers stay vigilant. They should expect a subscription price hike, blocking, throttling, and of course paid prioritization. Personal information is threatened to be distributed without consent because of the net neutrality repeal.

Because of these issues, the Decenternet platform has been devised to counter any abuse of the consumers’ rights regarding the usage of internet. It empowers free speech aside from keeping personal information discreet. Users are not treated as convicts and not spied on. It is the opposite of the net neutrality repeal.

The Decenternet system does not engage in blocking contents, apps, or other websites. In fact, consumers have endless access to the decentralized and centralized network. They don’t need to pay high fees because they are the ones getting paid to use the service by the Spyce mining activity.

Net neutrality lives in the Decenternet to protect the consumers. It is an open internet where everyone can freely communicate online. The net neutrality repeal cannot be felt in the platform.
